Welcome to the Okiki Podcast: Making Inspirational Known.

Here's some background on the name Okiki. If you haven't followed my story before, my name is Fiyin Obayan, and I am a Nigerian-Canadian. I was born in Nigeria, and I have lived in Canada since I was five years old.

The language of the cultural groups that my parents trace from is Yoruba and Igbo.

Okiki is a Yoruba word, and it means to make something known and famous.

So I wanted to make a podcast that showcases people who inspire me. Hence the tagline "make inspirational people known."

In the next couple of months, you will be introduced to some of these remarkable individuals who have inspired me as a business owner. For now, I wanted to give you some practical tools and tips if you too wanted to start your very own podcast.
